Travellers who decide to extend their holiday or explore employment opportunities should follow simple guidelines to legally extend their visa.

If a guest of the emirate has a tourist visa valid for 30 or 60 days, then it is possible to extend the stay in the country for another 30 days.

Renewal via the GDFRA website. You must register on the website of the General Directorate for Residence and Aliens Affairs (GDFRA) using your email address. Then log in with your username, click on the "New Application" button and fill in all fields of the form. You must attach a scanned copy of your passport to the application and pay the service fee.

Via the GDFRA app. You need to register or log in to the management app, go to the menu and open the visa information.
